Our Fantastic Adventure (Childrens Poem).
OUR FANTASTIC ADVENTURE
As sleepy eyes droop
our imagination whisks us away
to the land of make believe
where the sun shines all day
upon our trusty old pirate ship
sailing for miles and miles
on a fantastic adventure
a day filled with smiles
riding waves of blue wonder
barely a cloud in the sky
looking far yonder
land catches our eye
wondrous island ahead
dropping anchor with a splash
throwing our gear in the rowboat
Josh and mommy off in a flash
greeted by Mickey and Minnie
also a quacking Donald Duck
festival party in full gear
can't believe our good luck
yellow star fish dancing
as turtle whistles to the beat
of the crab's thumping pinchers
nature's music so sweet
warm sand between our toes
nodding off in the sun for a nap
knowing we will return soon
dreams and imagination our map
