The Garden of Delight (Children's Poem).
Trees made of chocolate
cherry bon-bons grow there
Come help yourself
for there's plenty to share.
Vanilla ice-cream
a special delight
Flowing free from the fountain
by day and by night.
Lollipops growing like poppies
wild and free
Little hands clapping
with pleasure and glee.
Honey coated teddies
dance just for you
Marching candy soldiers
make their debut.
A merry-go-round
with striped candy cane poles
Peach flavored horses
liquorice foals.
Girls in pink dresses
all ribbons and curls
Dance round a maypole
of strawberry swirls.
Boys ride on trains
pin-wheels go around
Laughing and squealing
oh..what happy sounds.
When butterflies kiss
your eyes closed tonight
Make a wish and I'll meet you
in The Garden of Delight.
