For A Moment.
Perhaps if there was a consequence
for reality's purgery
I would feel safe.
And maybe if the pedal pushing goldfish
were just a little louder,
I'd be okay with life.
But as it is,
no blossoms have come to pass my way.
And on this quiet street
(which may or may not be perfect)
where I think I live,
I am realizing how much
I want.
What I want, I don't know.
But the feeling remains.
And there's no barrier now against crying.
Cause every time I smile,
I just creased one more line in my face
and there's no telling what path
I need to take next.
So I guess there's no boundries after all.
There's no reason to hide, cause I just found
ten more monsters
in this dumpster
I call reality.
