And after awhile.
And after awhile i started to see your smile fade away.
that look in your eye when i smiled at you, it wasn't that bright.
and they way you breathed when i kissed you stopped.
and i started to feel like i wasn't really the one you wanted to be with.
that i wasn't the one you had those feelings for.
and even though you were my my friend, my love, my entire life, i didn't want to hold you back.
i knew that deep down inside it was her that you were smiling at, that you were saving that look for, and the kiss.
and letting you go hauts my thoughts but i know that losing you was worth it all.
your happy where you are and thats all that matters.
