Broken.
Protecting ourselves from the outside world
only to destroy ourselves from the inside
to keep away from those that only cause pain
yet destroying our bodies and minds on our own
shattered hearts and broken dreams
living on a day to day basis
living to forget
forgetting to live
dreams of our souls meeting
on a broken day
under the deep night sky
stars gazing upon us
upon us all
till the sky turns red
and the flames burn bright
our beautiful city
