He Left Me.
I cant believe he left like that
Not caring about me
He said that we would be together forever
And that he Loved me
He never stopped to think of what
Him leaving would do to me
Not thinking about the pain
He inflicted on me that day
His voice still rings in my head
His kiss still lingers on my lips
His face still haunts these eyes of mine
I wish they would just go away
I cant get him off my mind
He is the only thing I think about
The way he would hold me close
Or the way he would smile at me
but people change and they learn that
life is filled with hurt
the pain the tears and the scars
all make you what you are
I guess the hardest thing in life to learn
Is which bridge to cross
And which bridge to burn
So now I am burning your bridge right now
So I dont relive the pain
Of having you back in my life
And then it taking you away
So if I had just one last chance to have you back
I would smile and say no thanks
I hope your happy now
For my heart just got over you and now you want me back
But you see you let go of me so I let go of you!
