The day the candle lost its flame.Fiction. I found this, I remember writing it,but I don't remember publishing it. written 26.09.06 sepia tones in the midst of a spirits presence is a chair that rocks back and forth under creaking floorboards, secrets remain in the room of a hollow house of decay rain cascades leaking through the roof onto the musky linen bedclothes a person once lived in hope and dreams had disappeared or so it seemed then comes the plucking of the strings acoustic vibes that tweak within they tell a story so very true in memories one laid his heart in you a desire to fulfill his biggest dream appeal to others and aid their needs revealing emotions they suppressed unleashed the pain and set it free a candle lit with glowing warmth melted as the time moved on he closed his eyes and soon it seemed the time had gone within his dreams the one he loved had tarnished all his faith and strength in all that seemed so perfect shattered in utmost dismay parchments of paper is hidden away abstract in mind no longer complete perplexed in a state of hell he wore a mask of deceit bleak and pale he withered in strength hot burning tears from straining eyes despite the warmth of the man that we knew thought life to be futile, allowed the demon rise a significant other of three years had gone no longer loved or cared and thought so wrong refused to believe that his love was for real a brick wall for a heart all feelings she concealed the secret comes out the day he fell depressed enduring in love scenes, no feeling suppressed as tears descend, the pain is evident to all he looked in her eyes and felt so small gazing in transfixing I love you he said I don't love you anymore, no remorse was displayed his face fell in sorrow as he said her name he walked out the door never to be seen again demons arose and his soul was taken away that was the day the candle lost it's flame.
