Twins. As seen across the moonlit sands Widows dead by their own hands Such gore amongst a placid rift Stare at each and soon I drift Searching dead minds for forgotten lore Knives to backs in metaphor Yet they lie in cringing smile Making this crime far more vile All lies tied by frayed strings Between these two who shared his rings He brought them here, o so sly To watch them perish, to watch them die Knowing they would each see one Knowing what damage had been done So with each a sharpened knife So they end the other's life But know they not the man's dark deed Of arranging them to hide his greed Because the one had been single Father dear decides to mingle But bore her a son with his name As the mother did the same Happen in the past did this So today, they greet death's kiss For no man shall know of fathers sins as he's left with his own twins.
